NATIVE FOOD MONTH

NATIVE FOOD MONTH

Bondi Wash is hosting native food month in both our retail stores this September – a celebration of the wild and wonderful flavours of Australia.  Native food month is in collaboration with Damien Coulthard and Rebecca Sullivan from Warndu along with Hayley Blieden from The Australian Superfood Co and is set to highlight iconic native Australian ingredients and bring the flavours of the Australian bush into focus.

For the month of September, recipes will be shared daily via the Bondi Wash journal featuring native ingredients such as wattleseed, Kakadu plum, lemon myrtle, strawberry gum, finger lime, and mountain pepper leaf, all of which will be available to purchase through the Bondi Wash retail stores in Paddington and Bondi (in limited quantities).  Native teas, granolas and raw bars will also be available for purchase.

Little is known, even amongst Australians, about the flavours, properties and delights of the native flora of our country.  The Bondi Wash retail team is thrilled to be able to offer a carefully this curated selection of native spices, tea and foods in both the Bondi and Paddington Bondi Wash retail stores.
